Usually I hightail it back to my apartment when snow starts falling, but today I took a stroll down the East River Park. I saw the fattest squirrel there, shivering on a gnarled tree branch. I felt sorry for the little guy, but apparently shivering and being fat are how squirrels deal with winter weather. At least the squirrel had an excuse for chilling outside. I don't know what was going through the heads of the people I saw running and playing football. Though I guess I can't really say anything because I was the weirdo lurking in the snow with a camera.
