One of the good things about living in New York is that there are no bad spots to test out new camera gear. I chose Brookfield Place near the Hudson River. Good choice, I think.

Giant mechanical Predator, NBD.
I shot this for NYRR this morning during the Manhattan Half-Marathon in Central Park. It was so cold that somebody had broken a bathroom’s hand dryer to blast heated air upward into their face. Another guy had fallen asleep in the stall. His snores were surprisingly peaceful.
