Holi was technically on March 6 this year but only if you go by things like tradition and the calendar. On the other hand, there's never a bad time to throw colored powder and listen to music so I was happy to visit the annual Holi Hai NYC festival hosted by the NYC Bhangra Dance Company this past weekend. I only arrived for the last half hour of the festival but that turned out to be more than enough time to get smeared and sprinkled with colors while I grabbed a few photos of the merrymakers. Next time I'll be arriving much earlier.
