I'm not really a "big drinker" or what you would conventionally call "fun" (I use air quotes) but I can appreciate a good bar like HiFi. Add that to my status as a "nerd" (according to my girlfriend and other loved ones) and I guess it's no surprise that I really like photographing the HiFi on the Wednesdays when Ryan Britt and his cohost Lena Valencia lead the appropriately titled reading series "HiFi Reading Series." This month's reading featured some fun poetry by guest curator Idra Novey and readers Jake Matkov, Timothy Ree and Hilary Vaughn Dobel.
