The Achilles International organization is great for all the ways they support disabled athletes, and I love how they have special programs just for war veterans and kids. I realize it's not a competition, but the cheering and support that goes on at this race is always top-notch and last weekend was no exception. But if I had to name my absolute favorite part of the event then I'd have to say the kids races. I'd like to think that I could outrun the smallest ones, but those five-year-olds can really move.
